캐나다인 하이킹 그룹인 OutdoorAdventure.org 은 10월 24일 (토)에 Falcon Ridge - Five of Diamonds Trail을 하이킹합니다. 팰컨 절벽(the Cliffs of Falcon)과 멀리 호수를 전망할 수 있습니다. 캐나다인 회원들과 함께 하이킹하면서 즐거운 시간을 보내시길 바랍니다.
LOCATION: Falcon Trails Resort.
DISTANCE: Drive (150 KM/1 HR 40 MIN);
Trails (9 KM/3 HR).
FEE:
Official Members: FREE;
Non-Members: $20 (Cash, E-Transfer or PayPal/Credit Card).
Carpooling: $45/number of people ($15/each with 2-passengers).

TERRAIN: Rugged with some Elevation.
DIFFICULTY: Intermediate.
REQUIRED: 4-RSVP; Vehicle Park Pass; Water.
RECOMMENDED: Snacks; Whistle; Gloves; Hiking poles (few available on site); Mid-hike shirt; Change of shirt/jacket for ride home.
We'll meet around 11 AM in the parking lot between McDonalds and Pizza Hut off of Fermor Ave and Lakewood Blvd, we drive at 11:15 AM and hike at 1 PM.
POINTS OF INTEREST:
It are a little forest resort on the shores of Falcon and High Lake in the Whiteshell Provincial Park. We will hike up grassy and rocky paths up to the Top of the World view of High Lake explore the rest of the Five of Diamonds sculptured trails through the Precambrian Sheild. The Canadian shield is crystalline igneous and high-grade metamorphic rocks that form tectonically stable areas. These rocks are older than 570 million years and sometimes date back 2 to 3.5 billion years.
