앞으로 운전중에 휴대폰으로 통화를 하거나 문자메세지를 보거나 보내거나, 또는 운전중 면도를 하거나 립스틱을 바르는 등 안전운전을 방해하는 행동을 하면 경찰로 부터 벌금통지서를 발부받게 될 것 같습니다.
매니토바 주정부 대변인은 올해 6월에 법이 제정되면 바로 시행에 들어가며 법규 위반 운전자에게는 $191 벌금이 부과될 것으로 예상된다고 발표를 했습니다.
RCMP(캐나다 연방경찰)는 이미 법이 시행되기 전인 현재 운전중 휴대폰을 사용하다 적발된 운전자에게는 경고 통지서를 발부하고 있습니다.
